Getting ripped with Workout Obsession



Getting and sustaining a lean, strong, healthy physique is easier than most think. This starts with understanding the key elements to get you that ripped, cut physique. Now why should you listen to me, well in a matter of 3 months I was able to lose 50 pounds, and brought my body fat percentage from 35% to 19% in this short amount time. Yes it took a lot of physical effort to complete this goal, but ultimately the physical effort is meaningless unless you have a clear concise picture in your mind of what you want. The mental part is the most important part in obtaining any goal and if you want the best and fastest results you’re going to have to believe you can achieve your goal. Getting ripped is an incredible pursuit that requires extreme focus and dedication. This is what really makes it easier, a mind that is set on its success.

1. When getting ripped some people make the mistake of being too concerned about the scale and not about body fat percentage. The body fat percentage is what it’s all about, focus on getting that down.

2. Next you want to take care of your nutrition. According to the scientifically proven fact of the energy balance equation,  if you want to lose weight you will have to eat less calories than you burn. If you eat more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. So its very simple if you eat about 2500 calories in a day and burn 3000 then that is 500 calories less in your body each day and trust me if you do the math over a long period time you’ll see that obtaining your goal is more than possible, it’s scientifically proven. As for the food that you eat and when you want to eat, there are many types of diets out there, but I have found that to stay healthy and maintain muscle gain while losing the fat, you will have eat a small portioned balance meal at least 6 to 7 times a day. Keep in mind that these are small controlled portions of meat, carbs, vegetables  and fruits. If you do eat junk food make sure it’s worth it because most junk food is full of fat and has no nutritional value, so take small portions of it and spreading it out throughout the day.

3. Choosing your fitness workout is one of the most important parts so choose wisely, you don’t want to get bored, boredom is the path to the darkside so mix it up and hit every muscle group. Strength training is key in getting ripped. Here are some great strength training workouts to give you that sexy ripped body. Powerlifting, circuit, bodybuilding, bodyweight lifting, and kettlebell workouts. As for cardio I love to do mixed martial arts training and run on the treadmill. You can also go the easier route and purchase great home gym workout videos like P90x or Insanity, they are proven and can get you great results. I hope this has been helpful.
